Day 1- Push-up

I’ve been nominated by guru Sriram Hari Lakshminarayanan to a 25 push-ups for 25 days challenge to hopefully raise awareness for PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder), anxiety and depression that drive people to commit suicide.

Tagging our சுகந்தி நாடார் today 💥

The rules are simple:

*Once you are nominated your 25 days starts the following day.

*Everyday you record yourself doing 25 push-ups even if you have to drop to your knees to get 25

*Every day you must nominate a different person.

Let’s reach as many people as possible.Let’s hope by doing this we can build awareness for anyone who is suffering from a mental illness, you are not alone and we are here for you.

Don’t be afraid to speak out! Remember no 2 days are ever the same ( be it pushups or be it your mind)

In case you are popular and nominated multiple times… Please either do additional set of 25 or add another 25 days… Simple 😄

I was tagged by Prabhuram Shanmugham to do 25 push-ups for 25 days.

Actually I asked him to nominate me for the push up challenge.

Thanks Prabhu

I did sixty pushups today, as I have been doing for last 4 years , minus the days I am traveling and off base.

No I am not posting a video or a photo of me doing it.

It is against my own privacy policy.

Anyway

Why did I want to take up the challenge, when I am already doing push-ups and not planning to post a media.

I am planning to do a mental push-ups.

Write something new for 25 days.

Finish one art piece a day.

That selfish reasons part PTSD and sucidal attempts are as real as corona.

We brush aside Post Traumatic Stress Disorder), anxiety and depression that drive people to commit suicide as a news that we come across.

What makes me and write on this topic.

What is my experience in the topic

The I in me wants me to write about it because it is a taboo talk about it .

My smart lawyeri answer regarding my experience with PTSD and suicide “ it depends “

We should actually ask the people who give me those experiences, and I will definitely start with Mr Covid 19 alias Corana.

When a teeny weeny virus that lives in the saliva of another human being has a capacity to affect the human race, he should be able to tell us that words we utter matters.

Each word is packaged with n number of tinly droplets of Mr covid 19.

தீயினாற் சுட்டபுண் உள்ளாறும்

ஆறாதே நாவினால் சுட்ட வடு 129 Thirukurral

The fire inflamed flesh may thoroughly heal

the sore healeth no more when inflamed by tongue.129 Thirukurral.

So every single words we utter matter.

When we approach a PTSD person or a person who may have contemplated suicide or contemplating rcause our experience is different from theirs fe their experience is similar they have notional better emotional immunity.

Emotional immunity.builds up when one takes risks against the fear, and provided with an opportunity to take the risks.Risks can only be taken when we accept any the experience as is. Accepting the experience as is allows build our strong personal space there by a stronger emotional immunity. We should avoid moral philosophical reasons for the behavior of the affected brain. See the social stigma of mental illnesses is blown out of proportion because of this social responsibility of being good and positive.

Can any one heal a cardiac arrest or broken knee with a positive philosophical advices and thoughts?

No know?

So mental illness is simply the illness of the organ called brain.

When we say I don’t want you to cry?

Or please don’t talk about the past does not help the brain.

Tears are the signs of emotional bleeding when it comes to mental health.

Every one of our mental health is challenged now during the visit of Mr Covid.

In this covid period we all are trying to stay home and stay safe. But every other day we have to go out for some emergency so what do we do

Carry more than one cloth mask per day

Carry hand sanitizer

invest in good cotton gloves.

I am actually looking for the classic white gloves like the ones Audrey Hepburn wore in her movies.

Me with my trademark jacket with sarees, now added to that, a classic long white gloves.

I am already loving the the image of me.
